A notebook given to John Montgomery Traherne by Taliesin Williams ('Ab Iolo') in 1834, containing transcripts by 'Ab Iolo' of a poem by Ieuan ap Rhydderch ab Ieuan Llwyd to Mair o Benn Rys from a manuscript (not NLW MS 6511B) written by Llywelyn Siôn of Llangewydd in 1596 and of an English song in praise of Glamorgan by Sir John Stradling of St Donats from a copy belonging to Edward Williams ('Iolo Morganwg') .

A facsimile manuscript in two parts mostly in the hand of William Watkin Edward Wynne. The first part comprises copies (some printed) of charters, public records, deeds, pedigrees, poetry, etc. of Merionethshire and Caernarvonshire interest, some of which are taken from transcripts made by Robert Vaughan, Hengwrt. The material includes records and pedigrees relating to the Wynn family of Peniarth; notes on the Maurice and Owen families of Clenennau, Penmorfa, Caernarvonshire, with related deeds possibly in the hand of William Maurice of Llansilin; deeds relating to the Porkington estate; an extent of the commote of Eifionydd, 1352; an extract from the Coroner's Rolls for Merionethshire, 1345; charters of Castell y Bere and Harlech Castle; pedigrees of Madog ap Dafydd of Hendwr, Llandrillo, Merionethshire; an ode to Einion ap Gruffydd of Corsygedol by Gruffudd Gryg; odes to Dafydd ab Ieuan ab Einion by Guto'r Glyn and Dafydd Nanmor; letters addressed to W. W. E. Wynne, the correspondents including Walter Davies ('Gwallter Mechain'); etc. The second part is also mostly in the hand of W. W. E. Wynne and again comprises material mainly of Merionethshire and Caernarvonshire interest, including pedigrees, correspondence, deeds, etc. relating to the Porkington estate and to the Maurice family and to the Wynne family of Glyn and Ystumcegid, Caernarvonshire; poetry relating to members of the Wynn family of Glyn by Huw Machno, Rhisiart Cynwal and others (one elegy translated into English); press cuttings taken from the Cambrian News, 1879; letters addressed to W. W. E. Wynne, the correspondents including Walter Davies ('Gwallter Mechain') and Joseph Morris; etc.

Transcripts of treatises on Latin grammar (one of which is subscribed 'explicit donatus'); notes on figures of speech; Latin poems; an englyn; proverbs; and prayers, including an invocation to St David.
The greater part of the volume is in the autograph of one Thomas Pennant.

Examples of deeds, entries in court rolls, patents, and other legal instruments collected by Edward ap Rys ap David, auditor of Powis, receiver of Chirk and Chirkland, circa 1509. The documents quoted relate to the lordships of Bromfield and Yale, Chirk and Chirkland, Oswestry, and Cowres, the boroughs of Holt and Beaumaris, and Oxfordshire. There are a few Welsh recipes and verses in the margins.

A composite volume mostly in the hand of Evan Evans (Ieuan Fardd) containing a copy of Sir John Wynn's History of the Gwydir Family, taken from a transcript made by Thomas Mostyn of Gloddaith (ff. 1-74); extracts from papers of Robert Vaughan, Hengwrt (ff. 75-86); lists of manuscripts at Gwydir and Llannerch (ff. 89 verso-94, 185) (for the Llannerch manuscripts see Cambrian Register, Vol. i, p. 320, etc.); poetry by Siôn Cent, Tudur Aled, Siôn and Gruffydd Phylip and others (ff. 95-153, 190-203); a pedigree of the Panton family (ff. 186-189); copies of letters from Edward Lhuyd to Robert Davies, Llannerch (ff. 204-219), and of a letter from Thomas Price, Llanfyllin to Robert Davies, Llannerch (ff. 220 verso-225); extracts; etc.

A composite volume, in the hand of Evan Evans, containing notes on Nennius and Gildas, which include twelve triads in Welsh, copies of letters to Archbishop Ussher from Robert Vaughan, Edward Brownker and Gerard Langbaine, together with extracts from a letter from Archbishop Ussher to William Camden (ff. 1-89); pedigrees of rulers and saints (ff. 92-121, 124-132), with copious notes regarding the sources of the texts; poetry by Guto'r Glyn (f. 122); a copy of a charter of Rhos Fynach, Conwy (ff. 145- 147); etc.

A manuscript in the hand of Evan Evans containing poetry mostly derived, indirectly, from the Black Book of Carmarthen (Peniarth MS 1) and the Red Book of Hergest (Oxford, Jesus College MS 111). A table of contents, in a later hand, is on pp. 179-180.
This transcript was adopted by the editors of the Myvyrian Archaiology of Wales for their text or for their notes.

A manuscript in the autograph of Evan Evans (Ieuan Fardd) containing a copy of the Rev. Richard Farringdon's 'Numismata Dinlleana or a brief account ... of certain ancient and curious medals found at Dinas Dinlle in Carnarvonshire', including detailed descriptions of each medal, with sketches of the lives of the Emperors depicted upon them, and also an account of Dinas Dinlle (ff. 1-38); a 'Botanologium', with names of plants in Latin, Welsh and English (ff. 39-58); poetry, by poets including Tudur Aled and William and Siôn Phylip (ff. 59-82); pedigrees (ff. 83-96); a letter, dated 26 October 1769, from Richard Morris, at the Tower of London, relating to books of ?Goronwy Owen (ff. 121-122); a note by Ieuan Fardd, 'On my 38th birthday, June 1st 1769' (f. 123); and various other extracts, etc.

Two volumes of transcripts, [1758], compiled Evan Evans (Ieuan Fardd), subsequently bound as one volume. Part I (foliated 1-153) contains 'The Gododin an Heroic poem of the sixth Century transcribed from a Copy of Thomas Wiliams of Trefriw M.D., and the Works of Taliessin from Dr Davies of Mallwyd's hand, and other particulars wrote by the Revd Mr. Evan Evans' (f. 1) and includes transcripts of Llyfr Aneirin (ff. 5 verso-36), Llyfr Taliesin (ff. 37-126) and other manuscripts.

A composite volume of collections of Welsh poetry and prose made about 1635. The title is derived from the third section which contains a number of poems to members of the Wynn family of Moelyrch in Llansilin. Amongst the poets represented are Hywel Cilan, Tudur Aled, Rhys Cain, Gruffudd Hiraethog, Sion Cain, Guto'r Glyn, Edmwnd Prys, Lewis Glyn Cothi, Iolo Goch, Cynddelw Brydydd Mawr, Iorwerth Fynglwyd, Taliesin, Dafydd ap Gwilym, Dafydd Nanmor and Wiliam Cynwal. Miscellaneous material in the volume includes a copy of an award relating to Moelyrch, 1540; a fragment of a letter by Charles I; the pedigrees of Oliver Cromwell, Holland and Morris, and Kyffin of Bodfach; a roll of the Caerwys Eisteddfod, 1567; an extract from 'Breuddwyd Rhonabwy'; a list of the sheriffs of Denbighshire from 1541 to 1635, with additions to 1658; a copy of documents relating to the treaty of alliance concluded between Charles VI of France and Owain Glyndŵr; extracts from the epigrams of John Owen; and extracts from scripture.

A composite manuscript lettered 'BARDDONIAETH &c.' on the spine. The volume, which contains 'englynion', 'carolau' and pedigrees, is written for the most part (ff. 1-52 verso and 75 verso-101 verso) by Wiliam Dafydd Llywelyn of Llangynidr (c. 1520-1606) (cf. NLW MS 15542B). Another hand is responsible for ff. 53- 75, but Wiliam Dafydd Llywelyn appears to have annotated this middle section. Folio 6 verso carries an eighteenth century list of payments, and folio 7 verso is blank. The contents are: ff. 1-2 verso, part of the story of 'Trystan ac Esyllt' (cf.
