A collection of 'englynion', 'cywyddau', carols, hymns and other poems by Lewis William, Liverpool, 1810-1816. The collection includes items by Evan James ('Ieuan ab Iago'), 1781, John Rees, Hugh Hughes ['Huw ap Huw' or 'Y Bardd Coch o Fôn'], Robert Lewis, 1782, 'Roberts, Ty du', D. Saunders and Lewis Edwards, Quaker, and a large number of hymns taken from printed and oral sources.

The apprenticeship indenture of Thomas Gee (senior) to William Collister Jones and Thomas Crane, printers, Chester, 14 Jan. 1796; a copy of a letter from Abel Simner to John Cartwright, 1837, concerning Thomas Gee's adoption as a Calvinistic Methodist preacher; a copy-book containing a list of visitors at Fron Cottage, and of presents received, October 1842; a note of hand by leading Methodists at Denbigh for their contribution towards building a British School, 1849; a Welsh poem beginning 'Oes neb a ystyr wrth fy nghwyn'; a note relating to a canvass for James Maurice at Denbigh, 1857; a resolution of thanks by Flintshire Monthly Meeting to Thomas Gee for his evidence before the Parliamentary Education Committee, 1867; letters relating to elections in Brecknockshire and Denbighshire, [?1868]; a list of employees of Thomas Gee; addresses by the Abergele district of Sunday Schools to Thomas Gee, 1873 and 1891; circulars relating to the Liberation Society, 1883-1887; circulars and papers relating to the Welsh National Testimonial to Thomas Gee, 1896-1897; notes of an address by Thomas Gee on the Sunday School; a fragment of an autobiography containing an account of an apparition, 1757; lists of persons who were present at the funeral of Thomas Gee; reminiscences of Thomas Gee; press cuttings; and fragments of correspondence.

A collection of poems, 'pryddestau', 'englynion' and other forms by John Lewis, 1860-1864. Many of the poems were successfully entered for competition at local 'eisteddfodau', e.g. at Bridgend, Brecon, Blaenpennal, Llangwyryfon, Tredegar, Aberystwyth ('Rheilffordd Glannau Cymru', 1864), Ebbw Vale, Aberaeron, Talybont, Abermeurig, Llanilar, Rhymney and Cilcennin.

Three music books bought by Isaac Williams 'of Mr. Parry, Relieving Officer, Dolgellau, Sept. 1903' and bound together into a single volume. They contain hymn-tunes, anthems and psalm-tunes, mainly by John Williams, Dolgellau, with a few tunes by R[ichard] Mills ['Rhydderch Hael'], one by I. R. Ellis, Dolgellau, 1841, and traditional and anonymous tunes; a poem entitled 'Amgylchiadau Marwolaeth Crist', an 'englyn' ('Y Farchnad Ysprydol'), 'englynion' by 'Shion Rhydderch', three hymns ('Mae'r gwaed a redodd ar y Groes', 7 stanzas, and 'Wrth edrych ar y sail', 4 stanzas, 'Ni'm diystyrir gan fy Nuw', 1 stanza), and a recipe for a cough.

Miscellaneous prose and verse submitted for publication in The Rhyl Advertiser and other papers, adjudications, etc., the contributors including Meredith J. Hughes, Robert Parry ('Robin Ddu Eryri'), John Williams ('Glanmor'), Richard Williams, (Celynog, Newtown), Morris Williams ('Nicander'), Samuel Roberts ('S.R.'), etc.

A copy, made about 1788 by Cadwalader Pugh, of the poetical works of Rhys Jones o'r Blaenau. Though it does not appear to have been made from the author's holograph collection (Mostyn MS. 163), it contains most of the items included therein.The latter portion of the book was used between 1836 and 1849 as a commonplace book and contains material taken from newspapers, including The Christian Advocate, The Weekly Dispatch, The Shropshire Conservative, The Sunday Times, and particularly The Carnarvon and Denbigh Herald. The longer poems include 'Ffarwel Caerludd' by R. D., 'Cerdd y Myglys' (anonymous), 'Hiraeth am Feirion' by Owen Thomas ('Twrog'), 'Carol Plygain' by O. Williams, 'Pennillion Serch' by John Jones ('Talhaiarn'), 'Can y Crys' by Edward Roberts ('Iorwerth Glan Aled'), and 'Meirion i mi' by William Roberts ('Gwilym Aran').

A small notebook containing 'Englyn ar fedd y diweddar D. R. Pughe, Esq. or Frondidion, Clynnog fawr Gan un oi hen gyffeillion ffyddlon Eben Vardd', and other poems, etc.

A commonplace book containing miscellaneous poems and prose extracts in the hand of David Roberts Pugh. Among the contents are 'Epigram addressed to the Inhabitants of Carnarvon', 'The Life of John Pugh of Lleyar Bach Nr. Clynnog Carnarvonshire', and 'Can Newydd yn erbyn y Papistiaid ... 1813' by E. Owen, Rhydwen.
