Engleburt, Dr. [John] Randall, E. Blanks, Rippon, R. Keene, D. Richards, [David Jenkin Morgan], [ J. Williams], [ ] Arnold, J. Edwards, Llangadock, [Ludwig van] Beetho[v] en, Dr. Cope, [ ] Clarke, Thomas James, J[ohn] Evan, Pencareg [near Lampeter], W. Harries, Castellnedd, Wm. Evans, T. The majority of the compositions were recorded during the period 1844-9, but there are additional items dated to the year 1881.

Congregational minister, of Brynberian), together with a prayer and miscellaneous memoranda. NLW MS 11660A also contains a journal of a preaching tour of cos. Carmarthen, Pembroke, and Cardigan undertaken by Evan Lewis and E[lias] Jacob, a fellow-student at Brecon, June-July, 1840 (see D. Morgan Lewis: Cofiant. . ., pp. 83-4).

M[organ] Lewis to Mount Pleasant English Congregational Church, Hirwain, 27 June, 1878, with a covering letter of even date from John Morris, secretary, of Board Schools, Hirwain; a copy letter of acceptance, 2 July, 1878, from David Morgan Lewis, Velindre, co. Pembroke; and the certificate of ordination at Hirwain, 2 September, 1878. Also included in the volume is a holograph letter from [the Reverend] D[avid] Richards, Caerphilly, to [D.
