Account of rents and disbursements, 1690-1700.

Account of rents received from man's Kedewen, Kerie and Halcetor, the tolls of Newtown and Carno; the profits of the courts of the said man's, and of 'divers rents' and 'divers leases' unpaid because of an injunction and the 'troubles of the time'.

Mont., esq., eldest surviving son and heir apparent of the said Walter Long. 2 The said Walter Long. Acknowledgement of receipt of £800 paid by 2 and which sum is to be charged on estates in Wales and Wiltshire already in mortgage to 2.

Act for vesting parts of the settled estates of the Rt Hon. Edward Herbert, commonly called Viscount Clive, in trustees upon trust to sell, and for laying out the monies arising from such sales in the purchase of more convenient estates. Printed.

Affidavit of Martha Barrington of Oldwinsford, Worcestershire, widow and relict of John Harris Barrington late of Forest, co. Mont., esq. dec., who was before her marriage with the said JAR widow and relict of John Devereux late of Newtown, gent., dec., and who was before her marriage with the said JD Martha Griffiths, spinster, only child and heir at law of John Griffiths heretofore of Forest, gent., dec., that she does not know of any deed of settlement executed before or after the marriage of her father nor upon her marriage to JD nor of any other deeds by which John Griffiths, son of George Griffiths of Kington, co. Rad., gent., a younger brother of her father, or Robert John Harrison who married Mary her eldest daughter, may have any claim upon m's called Forrest, Cae-mary and Penaron, p. Kerry. Agreement that 1 and his wife may have full ingress, egress and regress to and from Llynlloedd wood for carrying away timber along an old road leading from Machynlleth to Glaspwll, lately sold to 1 by the surveyor of the highway of Pentre rhedyn in the town of Machynlleth by the direction of two JPs of co. Mont., and along a piece of land called Caiefron beginning near a turnpike gate called Lledfor gate and extending to the west end of Llynlloedd wood in p. Machynlleth in lieu of similar rights granted by 1 to 2, in a deed of exchange of lands in 1799, along a piece of land called Caecanol.

An Act for vesting certain estates in Warwickshire, Middlesex, and co. Mont., late of the Rt Hon. Robert, earl of Catherlough, dec., in trustees, in trust to be sold; and for investing the money arising from the sale thereof in the purchase of other estates, to be settled to the subsisting uses of the will of the said Robert, earl of Catherlough, and for other purposes therein mentioned. Printed.

In answer to recipient's letter concerning the Master [in Chancery]'s calculation of the interest due on the £6,000 mortgage from June 1686 he, as Mr Noel's agent, received the interest up to 16 June 1686 as appears by his deposition in this cause. He cannot give an account of payments to Mr Noel up to 4 Sept. 1699 until he can examine Mr East's books.
