An indexed volume entitled 'Rough Methods of Analysis' containing diagrams and explanations of chemical methods and processes used in the steel industry, principally compiled by J. H. Ridsdale, Middlesbrough. It includes a letter, 1907, from Arthur Caddick, Lincoln, to 'Jack' (probably J. H. Ridsdale) concerning 'the Sulphur method'. The volume was passed down to generations of workers at the Port Talbot steel works.

A bound copy, entitled 'Llef y Proffwydi', of the pamphlet by Saunders Lewis and Lewis Valentine, Paham y Llosgasom yr Ysgo1 Fomio (Caernarfon, 1936), inscribed by Lewis Valentine, 4 Dec. 1936, and including a pasted-in photograph of Saunders Lewis, Lewis Valentine and D. J. Williams, and related press cuttings.

Copies of Bill Meilen's two collections of verse entitled 'Fields of Pain' (a chronicle of the Korean War, 1951-3) and 'Trumpet Shadows' (written on visits home to Wales over two decades).

A copy of The New Testament in Welsh and English presented in 1937 to John Richard Waters on being accepted into full membership of Tabernacl church, King's Cross, London. The volume bears the signature of the Rev. H. Elvet Lewis ('Elfed', 1860-1953), minister of Tabernacl church, 1904-1940.
