Ledger, 1812-1828 (watermark 1810), of Thomas Rees of New Inn, Llanfihangel-ar-arth, Carmarthenshire, a general merchant operating in Carmarthenshire and Cardiganshire, written mainly in the hand of his clerk, John Griffiths. The ledger relates primarily to his Carmarthenshire customers and includes records of payments for butter and for the transportation of goods (particularly butter) between New Inn and Tregaron, Lampeter and Carmarthen. There are entries of old debts dating from 1798 (pp. 1-2) and particulars of rents and Talley grange custom paid by tenants and debts collected on behalf of creditors. Items found loose in the volume, including invoices and a note relating to the export of butter, have been placed in an archival envelope (42 ff.).
An account book kept, c. 1681-1696, by a [? Carmarthenshire] landlord (possibly Thomas Lloyd, Alltycadno (d. by 1721)) to record financial and farming transactions, including rents due and paid to him, rates and other dues paid, wages of servants, purchases and sales of livestock, etc.

Twenty-five letters and telegrams to J. F. Morris, Carmarthen, solicitor and Liberal Unionist, relating to the selection of a Liberal Unionist candidate for the 1889 by-election in the West Carmarthenshire division and to attempts at co-operation with local Conservatives. The main correspondents are Robert Bickersteth, London, secretary of the Liberal Unionist Association and Leigh Maclachlan, Cardiff, agent of the Liberal Unionists in South Wales.
A warrant of the Privy Council, March 14, 1601/2, authorising baron Buckhurst, Lord High Treasurer of England, to pay to Sir John Vaughan, or to his assign, Griffith Lloyd, the sum of three hundred and fifty pounds, being the charge of arming, 'apparelling', and transporting one hundred men from Carmarthenshire for military service in Ireland.
