[Anemones in a cup].

A selection of flowers, possibly anemones arranged in a white china cup sitting on a matching saucer. The cup has a pastoral scene with a man carrying a child on his shoulders whilst another, slightly older, child walks behind.The print is mounted on yellow paper and has had the corners trimmed to give a lozenge shape.

[Anenomes]

An arrangement of six anenome blooms with foliage in a cup. This has a design showing a father with a small child on his shoulders and another child trudging behind. The cup is sitting on a plain saucer. All four corners of the print have been trimmed giving the image a lozenge shape. The print has been mounted on a sand coloured page. This is a variant of album 3900/22.

46 photographs, 22 loose, in a small album. The photographs are individually mounted on pages of different pastel colours. Some photographs are cut into oval shape, others are oblong with trimmed corners. Most are small still life arrangements of flowers. Others show toys, family members, friends and animals. There is no indication on the blank folios or the reverse of the loose photographs that they were ever fixed into the album. Digital version of the album described in greater detail.

A piece of card on which is mounted an albumen print from Hudson's Series titled 'From Dolly's Road, Llanidloes' on one side and four siver gelatin prints dating from 1897 on the reverse. Two of these are of committees, one of the Town Council on Jubilee Day (ie Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee) and one is of a performance of the Messiah on 6th May 1897 in China Street chapel.

One twenty four frame film of Ilford HP5 Plus showing Leo & Ania Abse, probably on their wedding day. Most are taken standing in or near a doorway partially obscured by a creeper. Others show them sitting down and holding drinks. There iare also three strips of Ilford FP4 plus which appear to be copies of photos from HP5 negatives.

1 photo in poor condition labelled 1st production UMW, photographer Alan Davies, Manchester House, Laugharne; 8 b&w photos in an envelope marked 'Venice Festival 1971' most backstamped 'Giacomelli Fotografia - Eliografia' in which Andrew Sinclair features; 6 b&w photos backstamped 'LPA International Syndicate' and possibly showing the Premiere of the 1972 film version of Under Milk Wood, again Andrew Sinclair features in a number of the photos; 7 further b&w photos connected with the same production and three 'Lobby cards' also of the same production depicting Richard Burton, Peter O'Toole and Elizabeth Taylor.

Green leather bound album containing, in the main, small photographic reproductions of old master and Victorian paintings mounted one to a page. None are annotated and are the work of numerous artists. 14 are loose.

[Album 10 - Clarence Whaite Paintings Vol 2]

Album containing photographs of artworks by Clarence Whaite mounted one to a page. No titles or annotations accompany the illustrations. Included is 'The awakening of Christian'. Many are pastoral scenes featuring sheep, others are coastal scenes and mountain scenery. Also two loose photographs showing the title page and binding of an album presented by the Royal Cambrian Academy to Queen Victoria in 1884.

Album containing photographs relating to fishing boats, Scottish scenery and some photographs of Whaite's paintings. Some of the locations can be identified. A large proportion of the prints have been poorly printed and have faded substantially. Those places identified or identifiable are mainly on the Isle of Arran.

Blue bound album containing a mixture of portraits, landscapes and artists studies assembled by Clarence Whaite. Most locations unidentified. Include are a small quantity of views in India, one titled "Bannion Trees near Cannanore, India." The other views of India appear to be by the same (unidentified photographer) . There are also views of the Brandenburg Gate, Statue of Friedrich II & Altes Museum exterior, Berlin. Other statues on the same pages may also be of Berlin.

Album containing 197 sepia photographs of old master paintings, mounted one to a page. Most reproductions are no more than 85 x 60mm. A small number are annotated in pencil. Religious and hunting themes dominate.

[Album 8 - Clarence Whaite Paintings]

Black album containing 74 photographs, mainly reproductions of artworks by Clarence Whaite. Those mounted have been placed one to a page, the largest being 295 x161 mm. Many others were loose inside the front cover of the album. None are annotated. The photos appear to be broadly contemporaneous with the paintings.

Album containing photographs of paintings. A signature is visible on a number of the paintings and as they are all in the same style are presumed to be by Clarence Whaite. Included, but not titled is 'Arthur in the Gruesome Glen' and titled 'The awakening of Christian' and 'The Shepherds Dream.' Included is a loose photo of a framed coastal scene.
