Blaenau Gwent

Two views of a chapel, interior and exterior. Presumed to be views of the same chapel. 'Blaenau Gwent' is visible on a plaque on the exterior view.

[Blaen Nant, Nant Peris]

An unframed ink and watercolour painting of a house on a valley floor, flanked by hills on either side. A weak sun shines through clouds above and to the left of the house. The painting has been photographed with a Kodak Colour Control Patch at the top of the frame.

[Birds of Prey II]

Two small birds of prey, possibly fledglings. Species cannot be readily identified but appears to be a small hawk such as a Sparrowhwak, Merlin or Peregrine Falcon. Both top and bottom of the print have been crudely trimmed. There is no evidence that this photograph was ever glued into the album.
