An incomplete essay (303 numbered pages, with some gaps, and with insets) of the history of Welsh eisteddfodau ('Crynodeb byr o Hanes yr Eisteddfodau Cymreig o'r adeg foreuaf hyd 1887') by 'Taliesin', which was submitted for competition at the Merioneth chair eisteddfod on New Year's Day, 1889.
