Photographs of a variety of buildings in India built by the Raj including medical facilities, barracks, court buildings, hotels, statues and memorials. These are presumed to be by Jan Morris and were taken in conjunction with research for her book 'Stones of Empire' (Oxford, 1983). Also included are other aspects of life in India including a Toda house, Nilgiris district of Tamil Nadu.
