Two volumes containing the manuscript, dated 7 April 1940 (f. iv), of the 'Life and Letters of the Ven[era]ble Benjamin Millingchamp, D.D'. by Herbert Millingchamp Vaughan.
The work contains transcripts of part of a journal of Benjamin Millingchamp, family correspondence and other papers (many of which are now in NLW MSS 13933-5), as well as biographical notes supplied by the author. Parts of this work were previously published in the author's articles 'A naval chaplain of the eighteenth century', United Service Magazine (January 1903), 348-376, and 'An Indian chaplain of the eighteenth century', East and West (Bombay) (1901), 289-298.

A typescript copy, dated 1940, of 'Life and Letters of the Venerable Archdeacon Benjamin Millingchamp, DD, Plas Llangoedmore, Cardiganshire' by Herbert Millingchamp Vaughan, with accompanying photographs. The typescript was copied at NLW from Vaughan's draft manuscript, now NLW MSS 13915-6B.
