A collection of anthems, part-songs and hymn-tunes, including works submitted by David Lewis for competition at various 'eisteddfodau'; a copy by T. B. Williams, Cefn-Gorwydd of an anthem by Evan Davies, Llandovery, 1854; holograph anthems by D[avid] Emlyn Evans ('Dysg im, O Dduw'; 'cyfansoddedig i Mr. Dd. Lewis, Llanrhystyd, 1869') and W[illiam] A[ubrey] Williams ('Gwilym Gwent': 'Pa Dduw sydd fel Tydi?'), and hymn-tunes by D. Wylor Owen and John Samuel, Carmarthen.

A miscellaneous collection of hymn-tunes, psalm-tunes and anthems, most attributed to Welsh composers, probably first compiled in the early nineteenth century but with manuscript and printed additions up to c. 1900 (watermarks 1817 (f. 34), 1825 (f. 59), 1829 (f. 73), 1835 (f. 27); ff. 41, 45 are printed), and including works attributed to John Williams, Dolgellau (ff. 8, 10 verso-12 verso, 40 verso) and Evan Davies, Llanymddyfri (ff. 25 verso-6). Accompanying words, where present, are in Welsh.
