Two of six volumes containing autograph letters, 1888-1924, mainly to Haines or to his wife, with some to or from Sir John Ballinger, and including copies of letters sent by Haines. Among these volumes's correspondents are Sir Joseph A[lfred] Bradney, J. H. Clark (Usk), Thomas Eborall Cooke (Newport), Frederick Arthur Crisp, Edwin Davies (Brecon), John Humphreys Davies, John Davies (Pandy, near Abergavenny), and Bickerton H. Deakin (Monmouth).
