One of six volumes consisting of several hundred letters ranging in date from the late eighteenth century to about the middle of the nineteenth, and addressed mainly to Walter Davies, with some to his daughter Jane, to John Jenkins, and to John Vaughan, from numerous correspondents connected with various aspects of Welsh life and including: Rowland Williams (Meifod, aft. of Ysceifiog), Taliesin Williams (Taliesin ab Iolo), William Williams (Aberpergwm), William Williams (Caledfryn), William Williams (Cowbridge Free School), William Williams (Llandegai) W.
