The file consists of correspondence and papers, 1977, relating to the preparation and publication of Eirene White, Thomas Jones: Founder of Coleg Harlech (1977). The file includes letters from Dr E. D. Jones and Professor Ieuan Gwynedd Jones.

The file contains a characteristic mingling of personal and professional letters, many relating to political events and the proceedings of the House of Lords. Some letters refer to a ceremony at Rhymney during April 1990 to unveil a plaque to commemorate Thomas Jones's name, and others to the re-publication of his Rhymney Memories. The file also includes a few related press cuttings and manuscript notes in the hand of Lady White.
