Hughes, Ewart Alexander, Sian James and William Canaway. Ron Berry, Bryn Griffiths, Dai Smith, Richard Vaughan and Hilda Vaughan were also elected and invited to join the Academi but their responses to the invitation have not been noted in this file.

Those elected were Cary Archard, Wynford Vaughan Thomas, Moira Dearnley, Mike Jenkins, Duncan Bush and Richard Griffiths. The file also contains a letter from Chris O'Neill accepting membership of the Academi, and Sian James, accepting a seat on the section's executive committee.
