Over a hundred and fifty letters, 1961-88 in English, Welsh and French, from various correspondents (surnames Jones-W). The letters, some of which include fair copies of published poems, are chiefly concerned with contemporary writing in Wales in both English and Welsh and with the recipient's work as editor of a number of volumes in this field. Copies of a statement signed by numerous authors in support of an Assembly for Wales, together with a copy of the letter sent to them by Gillian Clarke and W. Rhys Nicholas. Also included are letters from W. Rhys Nicholas (2); Gwyn O. Jones; A. G. Prys-Jones; Islwyn Ffowc Elis; Raymond Garlick; and Harri Webb. In addition, the file contains notes by Gillian Clarke and printed material relating to the 'Yes for Wales' campaign.
