Some one hundred and thirty letters, 1936-1938, to William Ronald Rees Jones (Keidrych Rhys) from over forty contributors and supporters, mostly covering issues 1-3 of 'Wales'. Also included is a manuscript draft of a series of five articles by GJ about Dylan Thomas published in The Western Mail, 1958; a postcard, 1958, from Richard Evans praising the articles; a scrapbook belonging to GJ containing articles and papers, 1953-1986, mostly relating to Dylan and Caitlin Thomas; additional notes and drafts of talks, [1954x1970], by GJ about Dylan Thomas; and papers relating to the Dylan Thomas summer schools at Swansea (1974) and Aberystwyth (1990) attended by GJ.

Alun Lewis's close friend Richard (Dick) Mills and Lewis's former girlfriend Wendon Jones (née Mostyn), both of whom were fellow students of Alun Lewis at Aberystwyth University, are described under Letters to John Pikoulis from academic and work colleagues of Alun Lewis and from academic institutions.

The file comprises papers, [1971]-1974, 1976 and 1986-1987, relating to The Beach of Falesá, libretto by Glyn Jones, based on a short story by R. L. Stevenson, and music by Alun Hoddinott. The opera was commissioned by the Welsh National Opera Company and published by the Oxford University Press (London, 1974). The file contains manuscript and typescript drafts of the libretto, with synopses of the work, and a copy of the manuscript vocal score (possibly in the hand of Alun Hoddinott).
