Two stanzas (hir a thoddaid) for an epitaph for Thomas Stephens, Merthyr, written for the Caernarvon eisteddfod, 1877; a list of students who entered the University College of North Wales, Bangor, in 1884; a list of missing history books in the library of the University College of Wales, Aberystwyth, 1927-9; a manuscript magazine entitled 'The "D"'; and copies of title-pages of books.

An incomplete biographical dictionary of Caernarvonshire worthies ('Enwogion sir Gaernarfon') (209 numbered pages, with numerous gaps) by 'Gwydion ap Don', which was submitted for competition at the National Eisteddfod held at Caernarvon in 1877.

Miscellaneous papers of Owen Jones (1833-99) comprising a notebook containing a Welsh translation by [Owen Jones] of 'Antigone', dated 12 Jan. 1866 (cf. Y Traethodydd XXI (1866), pp. 176-202) and some items of verse, 1869-75; a list of book titles, 1841-90, also by Owen Jones, with some notes in pencil probably by Charles Ashton; a notebook in an earlier hand containing hymn stanzas and other items of verse in Welsh, with receipts, 1854-5, from Thomas Jones, Vrongain [Llidiardau near Bala] to various persons for rents in the Llidiardau district, 'Coste wrth adeiladu Ty'r ffridd, 1859', etc.; and other items including 'Cwrs y Byd', gan un a'i lygad yn ei ben, Llythyr viii', a letter from Owen Jones to [?the Reverend John Davies, Bontddu] (beginning wanting), a copy of a reply, 1861, from Owen Jones to Dr Edwards concerning Llanuwchllyn, some Bala College examination results [1866], 'Dau Hir a Thoddaid, Beddargraph Thomas Stephens, Merthyr (Eisteddfod Caernarfon 1877)' by 'Dyfrid Beneurog', Alban Hefin 1877, extracts from printed sources including Y Drysorfa and one or two printed items ('Cyfarfod Misol Trefaldwyn Uchaf. Enwogion Sir Gaernarfon ...,

A volume (511 pp.) containing 'Enwogion Sir Gaernarfon ... gan Ymchwiliwr' ['sef John Jones (Myrddin Fardd)' added in another hand], a prize-winning entry at the Caernarfon National Eisteddfod, 1877; it is fuller than the published work bearing the same title. Inserts include a letter, 29 January 1806, from D[avid] T[homas] ('Dafydd Ddu Eryri'), Waunfawr to ?[David Owen ('Dewi Wyn o Eifion')] (the illness and death of the writer's brother, Humphrey [Thomas]), a letter, 1905, from [the Reverend] E[van] Evans, Llansadwrn Rectory, Menai Bridge to ['Myrddin Fardd'] (names of subscribers to Cynfeirdd Lleyn), a copy by 'Glynn' of the inscription on the (?) tombstone of the Reverend J. H. Hughes ('Ieuan o Leyn'), a letter, year not given, from [the Reverend] D. Roberts, Llanelidan Rectory, Ruthin to John Jones ('Myrddin Fardd') (replying to a query concerning his father, the late Reverend William Roberts, rector of Llanddeiniolen), and a number of press cuttings, etc. There are also some sheets (161-173 and 329) from a later manuscript version of 'Enwogion Sir Gaernarfon' and a transcript by [W. H. Roberts ('Iseifion')] of a note by 'Myrddin Fardd' on David Williams, MP, JP, DL ('Dewi Heli') (see Cwrtmawr MS 932D).
