Silvan Evans of family memoranda (entries of births, baptisms, marriages and deaths, press cuttings of obituary notices, etc.); holograph letters to D. Silvan Evans variously entitled 'Prydyddwaith', 'Telyn y Cyssegr: Sef, Odlau a Melodion, Gan Mwyaf ar Destynau Ysgrythyrol', and 'Melodion Ysgrythyrol'.

Silvan Evans (replying to queries and giving correct readings, the writer's own work, sympathy on the death of Mrs Evans, the Dictionary, asking for permission to catalogue the addressee's Welsh manuscripts, etc.) and one, [18]97, to [J. H. Silvan] Evans (advice concerning the Dictionary).
