A letter, 1999, from Rodney Jones, relating to the location and original construction of the grave of Dr John Gwenogvryn Evans (1852-1930) and his wife Edith (d. 1923) which he prepared for himself in a rock near their home at Tremvan Hall, Llanbedrog, Caernarvonshire, where the donor's mother worked as a domestic servant; together with a plan of the grave.

Gwenogvryn Evans's lectures on palaeography at the University of Manchester, 1906-1907 (ff. 20-56); Lewis's printed registration book for the University of Berlin, 1908 (ff. 57-68); and a manuscript 'Bibliography of Material relating to the History of Wales' in the hand of E[dward] A[rthur] Lewis, University College of Wales, Aberystwyth, 1900-1901 (ff. 1-19).
The registration book lists lectures to be taken, October 1908-March 1909 (ff. 59 verso-60), but is otherwise unused.
Lewis, Timothy, 1877-1958
A diary by Emrys Hunter Evans (1880-1970), son of John Gwenogvryn Evans, of holidays, mostly spent with his parents in Old Colwyn, co. Denbigh, during the summer of 1893; the diary also contains references to J. Gwenogvryn Evans visiting Lord Mostyn (ff. 20, 24).
