= Material relating to busts of famous Welsh people commissioned from and created by John Meirion Morris, the subjects including the rugby player Ray Gravell (1951-2007), the naturalist, botanist, linguist, geographer and antiquarian Edward Lhuyd (1660-1709), the educator Ifor Owen, the monk and priest Saint John Roberts, the poet, antiquarian and collector Iolo Morganwg (Edward Williams), and the poets Dafydd ap Gwilym, R. S. Thomas, Gwenallt (D. Gwenallt Jones) and Waldo Williams. The material includes correspondence, draft drawings, estimates, photographs and photocopies of printed matter. An album of annotated autographs, photographs and engravings, printed matter, press cuttings, etc., compiled during the years 1858-1881. The volume is almost entirely devoted to persons who were prominent in the literary and musical life of Wales during this period, and it appears from internal evidence to have been well known to the compiler's friends and contemporaries. The autographs are largely in the form of personal entries, recorded mainly at national and other eisteddfodau, but there are also a number of mounted holograph letters, 'cut-out' signatures from holograph letters, and franks. NLW MS 12355F contains two engraved portraits of the Reverend Francis Hiley, Llanwenarth, and at the end of the same manuscript are some additional press cuttings mounted by Lady H. A. Robinson, relating largely to the death of King Edward VII. The outside upper covers are labelled respectively 'Caradawc's Scrap Book No. 1' and 'Caradawc's Scrap Book No. 2'.

A volume, c. 1789-1801, containing Welsh medieval prose texts and later verse, mainly in the hand of Owen Jones ('Owain Myfyr', 1741-1814). Other hands include Hugh Maurice (ff. 64-74) and Edward Williams ('Iolo Morganwg') (ff. 110v-11v). The prose includes texts relating to cerdd dant, copied mainly from 'Llyfr Rhobert ap Huw o Fodwigen' [BL Add. MS 14905]; 'Cato Cymraeg', 'Ystori y Llong Foel', 'Breuddwyd Paul Abostol' and other texts, 'o Lyfr Mr Thomas or Gest yn Eifionydd Mehefin 1777' [Richard Thomas (1753-80)] (ff. 14-33); 'Y Diharebion Cymraeg' (ff. 66-79); 'Y Pedwar Brenin ar ugain o'r Brytaniaid ... allan o Lyfr Havod Uchdrud' [? Havod MS 5] (ff. 112-23); and 'Llyma val y descennodd Pendevigaeth Gymru yn oes Vaelgwyn Gwynedd ...' 'Tomas Wiliams o drevriw allan o hen vemrwn a gawsei y cof hwnn' [NLW MS 16962] (ff. 131v-6).
