A small volume entitled 'Cell-gasgl Sion Lleyn, 1805', containing 'englynion' (chiefly epitaphs), stanzas in free metre including hymn stanzas, and one or two longer poems (e.g. 'Awdl ar Dosturi 1809' and 'Pillion i Dwm or Nant herwydd ei Lyfr, sef Ban y Byd - Creglais o Groglofft &c, 1809, Ebrill 27') by and in the autograph of John Roberts ('Sion Lleyn'). Other poets represented are Griffth Williams('Guttun Peris'), W. Elias and O[wen] Griffith. There is also a list of unfamiliar Welsh words ('Geiriau Cymraeg dieithrol yn amlwg'), with the following note: 'Hyn a gymerwyd o gasgliadau Thos Prys Esqur, Plas Iolun, a D. Ddu a S. Lleyn'. On p. 58 is the note 'Mai 11. 1812 Priodais' [see Cwrtmawr MS 510, p. 106].

A transcript by John Thomas ('Sion Wyn o Eifion') of cywyddau and other poems by Robin Ddu, Rhys Goch Eryri, Iolo Goch, Tudur Aled, Dafydd Gorlech, Dafydd Llwyd ap Llywelyn ap Gruffudd, Dafydd ap Hwlcyn ap Madog, Rhys Llwyd ap Rhys, Maredudd ap Rhys, Mathew Owen, Edward Morus and Sion Lleyn; the manuscript also contains triads, genealogies, 'Breiniau Gwŷr Arfon', 'Meddygon Myddfai', 'geirlyfr William Lleyn', etc.

A scrap-book belonging to John Jones ('Myrddin Fardd') containing notes and press cuttings relating to churches and parishes, etc. in Llŷn and Eifionydd, Caernarvonshire, with a few references to places outside that area, e.g. Abergwili, Carmarthenshire and Brongwyn, Cardiganshire. At the reverse end are copies of memorial inscriptions, a note on 'Ffordd Maughan', transcripts of two letters, 1860, from [Ebenezer Thomas], 'Eben Vardd', Clynnog to Mr John Roberts [?Sion Lleyn], and brief notes on mansions in Llŷn and Eifionydd, etc. Letter (?) The wording on the title-page is 'Trysorfa yr Awen sef Casgliad o Ganiadau, Sion Lleyn, 1787,' but some of the items are of later date. A volume of poetry in strict and free metre in the autograph of John Roberts ('Siôn Lleyn') entitled 'Gemmau yr Awen sef Casgliad o Waith John ab Robert Neu Siôn Lleyn 1783' and described by him as 'Gwaith boreu fy oes, tra anmherffaith a llawer wedy ei Adsgrif o hono ai Drwsiau - pasiwch heibio ir gwallau yw Dymuniad J. Roberts'. Other poets represented are Walter Davies, Robert Prichard, Melin Sôch ('Robin 'r Aber'), J. Some of the poems by Siôn Lleyn are of Calvinistic Methodist interest e.g. 'Hannes Goffadwriaethol am farwolaeth Mr Griffies [sic] o'r Bermo a dau oi Blant, ynghyd a byrr hanes or Efengyl yno 1786' (p. 58), and 'Pennillion yn dymmuno llwyddiant Robert Jones yn ei Siwrna i Lundain (ar ddymuniad y Gymdeithas Grefyddol o Gymru) i Draddodi gair y Bywyd iddynt yn y flwyddyn 1779' (p. 117).

An exercise-book marked on the first page 'Copy No. 16' containing transcripts probably by John Jones ('Myrddin Fardd') of poetry by Evan Pritchard ('Ieuan Lleyn'; 1769-1832), with one or two items by John Roberts ('Sion Lleyn'), W[illia]m T[h]omas [?1790-1861] and William Williams. The final item ('Cywydd St. Cowrda' by [Hywel Rheinallt]) has no name appended to it and is incomplete. The poems appear to have been transcribed in separate sections and put together later.
