Two lists of Welsh families in Hughesofka, Russia, sent in 1896 to Daniel Lleufer Thomas, secretary of the Welsh Land Commission, the one supplied by John J. Hughes, son of John Hughes, founder of the settlement and of the metallurgical industry established there, and the other by the Russian Embassy, together with correspondence.
