A manuscript in the hands of several 16th century scribes comprising poetry by Dafydd Epynt, Ieuan Llwyd and others, and a Welsh calendar.
A volume containing Welsh poetry in free and strict metres, in the hand of David Evans (Dewi Dysul), Llandysul, Cardiganshire (see W. J. Davies, Hanes Plwyf Llandyssul (Llandysul, 1896, repr. 1992), pp. 253-5), mostly written by himself and relating to local events and personalities. Also included are diary entries, 1839-1872, relating to the weather and agricultural memoranda (ff. 70-81verso, inverted text).
The volume contains a Welsh carol, 1828 (ff. 1-2), Welsh poems sent as Valentines, 1850-1851 (ff. 13, 15, 33), a poem in praise of Llanover Hall, [1860s] (f. 52 verso), a poem in praise of John Hopkins (Ioan Glan Tees), 1863 (ff. 53 recto-verso), a Welsh metrical version of Mother Shipton's Prophecy, 1873 (f. 59), a poem on the death of the son of David Davies (Glan Cunllo), 1867 (f. 55 verso), and a chart of early-nineteenth century Welsh poets compiled by John William Thomas (Arfonwyson), [c. 1840] (f. 74 verso).

A volume containing Welsh strict-metre poetry in the hand of Wmffre Dafis, vicar of Darowen, written in 1599 for his nephew, Theodore Price, sub-dean of Westminster Abbey.
The same scribe also wrote Bodewryd MS 1, BL Addl MS 14933, Llanstephan MSS 35, 118, and NLW MS 3056D (Mostyn MS 160). Jesus College MS 101 (see Report on Manuscripts in the Welsh Language, 2 vols (London, 1898-1910), II, pp. 68-86) appears to be a straight transcript from this manuscript. A series of englynion in Welsh and Latin have been added in an early-seventeenth century hand on f. v.

An imperfect interleaved manuscript containing prayers, psalms and Scripture readings; 'Ystori Peilat'; 'Bychedd Saint Margred', 1642; poetry in strict metres by Sion Reithar, John Brwynog, Huw ap Dafid Lloyd, Ifan Brydydd Hir, Rhys Pennardd, Sypyn Kyfeiliog, ('yr hwn a gyfieithir dafydd bach am hadog wladaidd'), Sion Kain (1609) (holograph), Dogtor John Kemp, Robert Mredydd, Mathew Brwmffild, Rhobert ap D'd Llwyd, Dafid ap Gwilim, William Llyn, Syr Dafid Trefor, Ierwerth Fynglwyd, John Tvdyr, Huw ap Richard ap Dafid, Morys Dwyfech, Richard John Brwynog, Morgan ap Huw Lewis, John Ffylipp, Huw Machno, Gr[u]ffuth Grvg, Grvffvth ap Ieuan ap Llewelvn Fychan, Dafydd Ddv o hir addig, D'd ap Edmwnd, and Ri'd ap Hoell; 'Penillion', for the most part anonymous, but with occasional stanzas by Gwen Williams, William Phillip, Sr Huw Robert, [Rob]ert Lewis, etc.; prognostications of Erra Pater based on the incidence of New Year's Day, and weather prognostications based on the phases of the moon; 'Ymddiddan tydyr ag Ronw'; 'Y rhif euraid'; and a few accounts for clothes; etc. An incident during the Second Civil War, on 5 June 1648, is recorded on p. 85 ('y pvmed dydd or mihefin y bv yr maes Rhwng syr John owen a gwyr y parlmant yn llandygai ag yn Rhayth yr lafan ...'), and it is probable that the manuscript was compiled about the period 1642-8.

Poetry of Dafydd ap Gwilym by a single scribe dating from the second half of the 15th century. There is also a fragment of material in Welsh relating to the governance of the manors, commotes, hundreds and counties in Wales, together with a list of kings from William the Conqueror to Henry VII, also in Welsh.
There are also three memoranda and letters regarding the manuscript which date from the late 19th century.

A collection of Welsh poetry of Dafydd ap Gwilym and others in three different hands, one of the scribes being Dr John Davies, Mallwyd. The manuscript most probably dates from the second half of the 16th century to the first half of the 17th century.
The poems have been collected from a number of manuscripts, including the White Book of Hergest.
