Three cars including D Ll G's Rolls Royce parked on the side of an unpaved road. Two young girls are offering flowers, one to DLlG and the other to Inspector Pavey. This may be the incident referred to by Sylvester on p185 of 'The Real Lloyd George' ...while enjoying a picnic tea peasant children presented us with bunches of Edelweiss. L.G. was thrilled and insisted on speaking to the children and giving each a present of money."
