2006 group (Under Milk Wood),

Papers, 1953-[2006], relating to Dylan Thomas known as the Under Milk Wood group, including scripts of the radio play, [1953]-1954; papers, [1953]-1986, relating to the publication of the work, with the original score, [1953], of the incidental music composed by Daniel Jones; correspondence, 1953-1958, including an unpublished letter, 1953, from Dylan Thomas to his literary agent; programmes, 1954-2005, of stage productions of works by Dylan Thomas, mainly 'Under Milk Wood'; translations and adaptations of the work, [1958]-2003; and papers, 1960-[2006], relating to the film production, audio recording, and animated film of 'Under Milk Wood'.

Additional papers, 1927-2006, relating to Dylan Thomas known as the Dylan Thomas Secondary Manuscripts, mainly comprising correspondence, articles, publications, and research papers by various authors among them Paul Ferris, Pamela Hansford Johnson, Daniel Jones, Glyn Jones, Ralph Maud, Wynford Vaughan Thomas, and Vernon Watkins; and including papers relating to the publication of the limited edition of Letter to Loren (Swansea, 1993).

J. and Florence Thomas, 1935-1957, and Caitlin's mother, Yvonne Macnamara, [1957]; and correspondence, 1954-1955, relating to the proposed publication of the notebook poems.

Additional papers, [1928x2010], relating to Dylan Thomas known as the Dylan Thomas Poetry Manuscripts, mainly consisting of autograph drafts and worksheets, [1928x2010], of poems by Dylan Thomas, including unpublished juvenilia, 'Elegy', 'In Country Heaven', 'Poem on his Birthday', 'There was a saviour', and 'Letter to Loren'; typescript copies, [1937x1990], including two poems published in The map of love (London, 1939); printed proofs, [1939]-1953, of various poems; and manuscript and typescript poems, [1930x1950], mostly in Daniel Jones's hand, on which they both appear to have collaborated.

A small group of papers, 1939-[2013], relating to Dylan Thomas and his third book, a volume of poetry and prose entitled The map of love (London, 1939), comprising four autograph letters, March-August 1939, from the author to the publishers, J. M. Dent & Sons Ltd; carbon copies of letters, 1939, from the editorial, production, and publicity departments at J. M. Dent & Sons Ltd; photocopies, [1990x2013], of most of the aforementioned letters; and a proof copy and file copy of the published work, the latter containing manuscript amendments and additions in an unidentified hand.
