Original file mainly comprising correspondence and other papers relating to licences to visit nests, take and handle eggs, take blood and other samples etc. for scientific purposes. Also extracts from Barry Sheavills's notebooks relating to the theft of eggs in Wales, 1986-1993.

Original file of reports of dead kites, post mortems and analyses for poisons and toxic chemicals. Also publications relating to pesticide poisoning and illegal poisoning of wildlife.

Kite population charts,

Original file of population charts, being records of kites (breeding pair, number of young reared, settled non-breeders, and other birds in the area) for each home range in April, 1946-1993. The charts are arranged by river catchment area: I (Dyfi catchment northward), II (Stewi, Rheidol, Ystwyth, Wyre), III (Teifi, Aeron), IV (Tywi and S. Carm.), V (Wye), VI (Usk), VII (Severn), VIII (Nedd, Tawe). Also lists and reference numbers of new territories for 1994 and 1995.

Original file of reports and observations for 1997 and related papers, including details of 'eggers' from Portsmouth who robbed kites' nests at Crai, and M.L., who knows the location of a new kite's nest at Ystradfellte.
