[Elderly Sergeant, Welsh Regiment]

Full-length studio portrait of an elderly sergeant in the Welsh Regiment. On his right sleeve he wears five Territorial Force Proficiency Stars and what appears to be a signallers instructors badge above his sergeants stripes. He is also wearing a medal (unidentified) on his left breast.

D C Harries, Rhosmaen Street, Llandilo.

[Company, Welsh Regiment or Pembroke Yeomanry]

Group photograph taken outdoors showing a company of soldiers, either Welsh Regiment or Pembroke Yeomanry. The cap badges of each are similar and not easily discerned on this image. The background of the photo includes a tent suggesting this may date from a Territorial Force summer camp. The presence of Territorial Proficiency Stars visible on the sleeves of some soldiers also gives credence to this theory.

Sister Palmer-Felgate

Half-length studio portrait of a bespectacled woman in military uniform. She is wearing what appears to be the medal ribbon of the Africa Star, two pips on her shoulder and an unidentified badge on each collar. The bottom of the negative bears the legend 'Sister Palmer-Felgate.'

[Sergeant, possibly Military Police]

Full-length studio portrait of a Sergeant with his rifle. His shoulder badge arrears to read 'Manchester' though his cap badge is reminiscent of the Military Police. Apart from a well-waxed moustache he is notable for a medal ribbon on his chest which may be that of the Egyptian Campaign of 1882-89 or more likely, India 1896.
