A[ugusta] H[all], 'G. G.', Llanover, to Taliesin Ab Iolo, Merthyr Tydfil. Thanking him for his translation of Tegid's composition. She regrets to hear that he is still so far from recovered. Miss Wms has sent her the remainder of 'Pan own i', but she (A. H.) does not think it altogether suits the first verse they translated. Miss Wms is busily engaged in her collection and says her brother is as anxious as A. H. is about it - 'strange', Sir S. Meyrick is very busy (with his volume).
Aug[usta] Hall, 'G. Gwent', Llanover, to Taliesin Ab Iolo, Glebe Land, Merthyr tydfil. Thanking him for his letter, which she forwarded to Mr Price for perusal. Her own private feeling with regard to the addressee's work, the attitude of the Committee, etc.

They have just heard that it is probable the materials collected by Mr Aneurin Owen of Welsh MSS (under the record commission) will be presented to the Welsh MSS Society to publish. The moment she knows with certainty she will appoint a meeting (for Mr Price and the addressee).
[Augusta Hall] 'Gwenynen Gwent', Llanover, to Taliesin Ab Iolo, Merthyr Tydfil. She thinks time would be gained in the end if he could come here for at least one day, when she would endeavour to get Mr Price and Mr Rees of Ll: to meet him. When. She would be very glad if he came here before going to Aberpergwm.
Aug[usta] Hall, 'Gwenynen Gwent', Llanover, to [Taliesin Williams]. The enclosed was sent her by Mr Rees of Cascob, who requested her to get some opinions as to its contents, indeed a translation she believes. She did not forget his MSS - there seemed to be a great fear on the part of the Committee of appropriating their slender funds for purchase if they could procure transcripts merely for the expense of copying. Mr Price. Asking him to give her any information he can respecting the copies of the Ll: Ll: Enclosure wanting.
Aug. Hall, 'Gwenynen Gwent', Llanover, to Taliessin Ab Iolo, Merthyr Tydfil. Is sorry he should have been troubled about the soap and brush. Her son returns his best thanks for the poem - he will with Mr Lewis'assistance write his acknowledgements in Welsh in a few days. She has communicated to the Vice-Chairman the addressee's desires and mentioned his two friends as guaranties for the return of the MS. Thanking him for the extracts he sent her. Asking him to name a price for any he would sell of Hafod copies.
[Augusta Hall], 'Gwenynen Gwent', to Taliesin Ab Iolo, Merthyr Tydfil. She regrets he should have had extra trouble. She hopes to see Mr Rees next month and then will take care to do the addressee full justice. Mr Price will be here tomorrow and will rejoice at his good account of progress. She hopes he remembers the promised white-washed walls, etc., and the Welsh inscription over his new school house. She wishes Mr Wms would work a little for the Welsh MS Society.
Aug. Hall to Taliesin Ab Iolo, Merthyr Tydfil. 'Lord Langdale has given consent for the Welsh MSS collected by Aneurin under the Record Commission to be delivered to our Society for publication ...'.

Aug. Hall to Taliesin ab Iolo, Merthyr Tydfil. The enclosed has been delayed on the road - she is requested to forward it without delay. Enclosure wanting.
Aug. Hall to Taliesin Ab Iolo, Merthyr Tydfil. She forwarded his last letter to Mr Rees and is happy to see everything progressing towards such an arrangement as they wish. Is the Myvyrian really going to be translated by Archdeacon Williams at the expense of Aberpergwm or rather his (?) risk?
Aug. Hall to Taliesin Ab Iolo, Merthyr Tydfil. Enclosing a letter from Rev. Mr Rees. (A note written inside the flap of an envelope). Enclosure wanting.
[Augusta Hall] to Taliesin Ab Iolo, Merthyr Tydfil. Directions relating to medicine. If he can get here without taking cold she is confident it will be beneficial to him.
Aug. Hall to Taliesin Ab Iolo, Merthyr Tydfil. Thursday week will suit her perfectly - she has written to Mr Price. Being herself indebted to the German system of medicine she encloses a list of questions for the addressee to answer and return. His idea is excellent about adapting some of his MS poetry to Miss W.'s tunes. ? Enclosure wanting.
