Copies of various letters, etc.: (a) Part of a letter, April 16 1761, from Tho. Scott, Wakefield, to his father-in-law, relating to the apparition of Mr Savile of Thornhill, who was drowned. (b) An account by John Williams, Cler', Aug. 14 1699, describing apparitions of Col. John Birch seen before the Colonel's death. (c) A prophecy related by Mr John Sadler of Warmwell, Dorset, in the year after the return of King Charles II, 1661. Sent by Mr Clavering, an honest worthy clergyman of Dorsetshire, about 1704 to D. W. Fd. (d) A letter, June 22, 1710, from Geo: Lluelyn, Condover, to the Honble Robert Davies Esq. '... we are in a mighty ferment in these parts & little likelyhood of it's abatement'.

On the reverse side are verses (4) beginning, 'When in your language I, unskill'd, address', described as 'A fragment, from the Addressed to a young Lady at Florence who did not understand English'.
