[Wildfowl]

This is a negative of an early painting by Kyffin Williams, probably painted before he went to study art. It shows a flock of ducks about to land on a body of water flanked by reeds.

[Wild Roses, Trevelin]

In the foreground is a wild rosebush, behind in the far distance are mountain peaks wreathed in mist. These may be the roses mentioned on p172 of 'A Wider Sky' (Gomer, 1991). See also slide 4689/193 for a similar, though less dramatic, view of the same scene.
