A framed oil painting of a cluster of whitewashed cottages seen from an adjoining field. A brass plaque has been fixed to the bottom centre of the frame. See above for inscription.
Ink and wash drawing of a rural landscape in which a narrow road heads downhill towards a few small cottages. In the distance are hills / cliffs. Drawing has been photographed with a Kodak Colour Control Patch at the top.
Rear view of a mock-tudor cottage with tile cladding down to the top of the ground floor windows. Photograph has been taken in spring or summer from the cottage garden at the rear.
A narrow road leading to moorland. A metal gate across the road has been opened. Note the slate fence. Location believed to be between Croesor and Cnicht.
This appears to be a copy photo of a re-touched print from Ridley 2108 (original negative number 3894). A dilapidated seating area behind the woman and girl has been retouched to provide a two arched stone structure. Country scene with a woman and girl by a well and a man-made pond. The girl is leaning against the parapet of the well. Behind them is a narrow road with a stone wall on either side and beyond the farthest wall a village church.
A couple photographed outdoors. The man, though dressed in jumper, shirt and tie appears to be on a hospital bed. His legs are covered with a blanket and he is sitting up. His wife, in fur jacket and tweed skirt, is standing next to him holding a small glass.
A man in army uniform photographed with, presumably, his wife or sweetheart. No regimental insignia are discernible though he has a medal ribbon on his tunic. This appears to be three light coloured stripes on a darker background. This could possibly be the Military Medal. His wife/ sweetheart has a military badge pinned to her blouse. This is possibly a Royal Artillery badge, but the badge is seen at an angle and partly obscured.
Full-length studio portrait of a Sergeant (possibly Colour or Regimental Sergeant Major) and his wife. She is holding his cap on which the insignia of the Pembroke Yeomanry are visible.
