Was glad to hear that the operation had helped John Herbert Lewis. A number of members at Charing Cross have died this year. 'The depression in Wales however has brought a tremendous number of Welsh people into London & the number of tocynnau aelodaeth read on Sunday nights has been longer than ever'. Annie has visited Mrs Mostyn Lewis. Laments the state of the modern world.

Annie and Tom enjoyed their recent stay at Plas Penucha. Has often thought of writing to John Herbert Lewis on the subject of soul books, but is now writing to request a list of 'living books of testimony'. Is convinced many people are living 'quite outside a great secret'. Reflects on human nature.
