The file is composed of press cuttings and papers concerning the career of Aneurin Bevan, together with the typescript draft of an article or part of a volume, presumably the work of John White. There is a copy of Bevan's birth certificate and two letters, 1951, from Dr Thomas Jones CH to John White.

T. [Jenkins].

Correspondence, January-June 1917, on Russia. It includes two letters, 18 and 25 March 1917, from General F. C. Poole from Petrograd, describing the revolution; reports by C. Platonoff on the general situation in Russia; a memoranda, 1917, relating to British official activities in Archangel; a letter, 8 April 1917, from Ronald M. Burrows to Thomas Jones, suggesting that the Russians are likely to capitulate.
