Court rolls. Written in Latin, these record the dates and places where the Courts Leet and Baron of the Manor of Manorbier were held, normally before the steward, and list the suitors under three headings, husbandry-hold tenants, sensory tenants and gale tenants (gabularii). The names of the grand jurors follow. At the court notes of essoins and fines were added and corrections were made to the lists of tenants.
