The manor comprised fifteen townships: Maesbury, Crickheath, Trefarclawdd, Sweeney, Soughtin, Llyncklis, Llwyntidmon, Llanforda, Pentregaer, Cynynion, Blodwell (?alias Llandolbrigmun), Treflach, Trevonnen, Bryn, and Weston Cotton. The courts were held generally at Porthywaen, and occasionally at Oswestry Guildhall, and Pant. The followrecords include court leet Proceedings, 1699-1802;court leet estreats, 1719-1814; and bailiff's accounts of fines and amercements, 1697-1707. There are also a few leet records of the manor of Trayan (comprising the townships of Dudleston, Weston Rhyn, Eston Rhyn, Bronygarth, Trefonnen, Midleton, and Treprenol; the courts were usually held at St. Martins), namely estreats, 1679-1680. 2 Boxes, 72 files. The reference MA 1017 was not used.
