A manuscript music book of popular songs originally belonging to William Williams, cabinet maker, including ballads and operatic pieces such as The Highland Laddie and Robin Hood. The volume then passed on into the possession of Thomas Llewelyn, Newbridge.

Also in the collection are nomination paper of Saunders Lewis in the University of Wales by-election, 1943 (f. 4); a typescript 'Memorandwm i Bwyllgor Heddwch y Blaid Genedlaethol' by D. Gwenallt Jones, [c. 1939] (ff. 15-32, end lacking); and two items of family correspondence, 1905 and [n.d.] (ff. 33-34).

David Lloyd George correspondence

Various items of correspondence including copies of telegrams sent by Lloyd George to victorious Liberal candidates in 1923, letters sent by Frances Stevenson from Versailles, Downing Street and Bron y De, a postcard sent to Gwilym Lloyd George, a letter of commiseration to a losing Liberal candidate dated 1929 and a circular letter with Lloyd George's facsimile signature to members of Military Service Tribunals thanking them for their service during World War 1.

First World War Ephemera

Ephemera related to David Lloyd George from the First World War period including event invitations, a copy of the statutory instrument implementing the Versailles Peace Treaty, signatures collected at the Versailles conference, war work passes and a supplement to the London Gazette dates 16 January 1917 detailing the campaigns in Africa by Jan Smuts.
