John Jones of Tan y Dderwen Discharged by Mrs. Gaynor Wynne out of £1060 Purchase Money agreed to be paid for his Estate sold to her by the Exrs. and Trustees of his Will as followeth.". Among other payments are: To the Poor of Llysfaen, £41-6-8; The Poor and School of Bettus £171-8-6, The Poor of Llysfaen Annuity £52. The Poor of Llanelian £8-5-4. Balance in hand of Purchaser, £191-19-1 whereof a moiety is bequeathed to use of his son John Jones in Bethlehem Hospital £95-19-61/2. The other moiety, after payments to Mr. Hughes, 3 June, 1749, and 8 June 1751, divided into three parts, each £26-18-2 paid to William Jones and his brothers David and Peter, who give receipts therefor, signed and attested, viz. W. Jones, 10 Sept, 1754. Witnesses: Edw. Price and John Norman; - D. Jones, 17 April 1755. Witnesses: Margaret Humphreys, William Davies Sexton, Peter Jones. Endorsed: "Accounts stated with Receipts of the surplus of the Purchase Money.".
