A typescript copy of biographies of five persons who died at Rhostryfan between 1900 and 1930, compiled by John W. Jones, Bryn Menai, and awarded the first prize at a literary and musical festival held at Rhostryfan on 23-25 December, 1935. The work has been revised by the adjudicator, W. Gilbert Williams, Rhostryfan, who has also included an extract from his own adjudication and some corrections.

A notebook containing the texts of sermons, together with the names of the preachers and occasional summaries of sermons, heard between 21 July, 1816, and 18 April, 1819, largely at Moriah C. M. Chapel, Caernarvon. Accompanying the volume is a covering letter, 1936, by the donor, W. Gilbert Williams, M.A., Rhostryfan, and a list by him of preachers recorded in the volume, together with an index of references to Joseph Evans (Denbigh): Biographical Dictionary ...
