He reports that the Board will be applying the procedure of Circular 931, 26 Nov 1916 (Special Provision respecting Advanced Students of Science & Technology). Selby-Bigge encloses a form for completion by any University teacher of advanced physical science and technology, who is engaged in work relevant to the war effort, the interruption of which would be detrimental to the public interest. Roberts of 13 Mar was forwarded to himself as present holder of the office of the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Wales. Informs that he has signed the statement sent by Professor Gilbert Murray on 23 Feb. Notes that resolutions of Senate are not valid until confirmed by the University Court, which will not meet until July. Add that Senate were in favour, and is confident that the Court will take the same position. Will ask the Executive Committee of the Court to take action on behalf of the Court, in their upcoming meeting on 20 Apr.

Add that Senate were 'unanimously in favour of helping the project in every way', and is confident that the Court will take the same position.
