Mae'r llythyr yn cynnwys englynion ganddo er cof am deulu a chyfeillion (ff. 12-20), englynion a oedd i'w cyhoeddi yn O Greigiau'r Grug (Dinbych, 1930), tt. 25-32. = A letter, dated 6 June 1929, from Richard Griffith (Carneddog) to his sister-in-law Elin Griffith and his niece Jane in Cricieth, containing mainly family news (ff. 1-20). The letter includes englynion composed by him in memory of family and friends (ff. 12-20), which were to be published in his forthcoming book O Greigiau'r Grug (Denbigh, 1930), pp. 25-32.
Ceir hefyd yn y llawysgrif ddau hysbysiad rhent stad Hafodgarregog, 1902-1903, yn ôl pob golwg ar gyfer William Griffith, Tylyrni, brawd Carneddog a gŵr Elin (ff. 21-22), a theipysgrif o ddyfyniad byr o araith a draddodwyd gan David Lloyd George ym 1925 (f. 23). = The manuscript also contains two Hafodgarregog estate rent notices, 1902-1903, apparently for Carneddog's brother and Elin's husband, William Griffith, Tylyrni (ff. 21-22), and a short typed extract from a 1925 speech by David Lloyd George (f. 23).

H., 'Agony of or Saviors birth' by J. Jones, 'A Confession of a sinner', 'The prayer of a sinner at the hour of death', 'An effectuall prayer for grace, mercy and forgiveness of sins', 'The dying teares of a penitent sinner', 'Queene Elizabeths delight', 'The Horny booke' by John Scriven, 'A lover departure' by D. ff. Two poems by Dafydd Vaughan, 'Gwir gariad' and ['Camgymeriad'], have stanzas in English and Welsh alternately, the Welsh following the English. -- As so many of the poems in the manuscript are by Dafydd Vaughan he may possibly have been the scribe. The volume has annotations by Walter Davies ('Gwallter Mechain') who has designated it 'Llyfr Ystrad Alun' and who transcribed some poems from it - see NLW MS 1658.

'Diferyn Difyrrwch neu ganiadau plygeiniol er coffadwriaeth am ymddangosiad Duw yn y cnawd', being a collection made by G. C. Griffith of 'englynion', 'carolau', and other poems by Robert Hughes (Neuadd y blawd), William Griffith ('Gwilym ab Gryffydd', 1794), John Thomas (Pentrefoelas, 1800), David Owen ('Dewi Wyn o Eifionydd'), G. C. Gryffydd (1816), and Richard Jones (Trefdraeth).

A volume, 1855 (watermark 1845), in the hand of John Hughes, Llanerchymedd, Anglesey, containing transcripts of letters and poetry, and other texts.
The volume contains items apparently copied from an untraced manuscript of John William Prichard (ff. 1 verso-25 verso), including transcripts of seven letters, 1751-1757, from Goronwy Owen to William Morris (ff. 2-20 verso, Welsh, English), and one, 1741, from Goronwy Owen to Owen Meyrick (ff. 21-22 verso, Latin, English), all of which appear in The Letters of Goronwy Owen (1723-1769), ed. by J. H. Davies (Cardiff, 1924); a transcript of a letter, 1806, from William Owen-Pughe to Prichard (f. 25 recto-verso); Goronwy Owen's Latin poem 'On Captain Thomas Ffoulkes' Escape…' (ff. 23-24); and englyns in Latin, English and Welsh by Edward Morris (f. 24). The volume also contains a copy of a poem ascribed to Robert Duke of Normandy but probably written by Iolo Morganwg (see The Gentleman's Magazine, 76 (1794), 981) (ff. 26 verso-27); a translation into English [by John Hughes] of the poem 'Y Gorwynion' (ff. 27 verso-31); a list describing the parish churches of Anglesey and their founders (ff. 68-74 verso); and descriptions of the Fifteen Tribes of North Wales (and a few others), with the blazons of their arms (ff. 76-81 verso). Items found loose within the volume (7 ff.) have been tipped in on blank leaves (ff. 32-34, 83), with the exception of a copy, 1799, by John William Prichard, of the poem 'Yr Eneth o'r Bryn', said to have been translated from English by Goronwy Owen (see Alan Llwyd, Gronwy Ddiafael, Gronwy Ddu: Cofiant Goronwy Owen 1723-1769 (1997), p. 58), which is loose at the end of the volume (f. 137).

Transcripts, mainly by Richard Lloyd, minister of the Welsh Calvinistic Methodists at 'Beamaris' about 1818, of cywyddau, englynion, odes, and carols by John Roberts (Sion Lleyn) and Rhisiart William Dafydd, and transcripts of letters to Richard Lloyd relating to Welsh Calvinistic Methodist affairs in Anglesey, 1828-1834.
