The original manuscript of a text entitled 'Crynodeb Catechism Doway: wedi ei gymhwyso at gyrrhaeddiad plant a rhai dilen a'i gyfieithu i'r Frutaniaith er lles i drigolion Cymru'. Preceding the text is the Welsh alphabet ('Yr Egwyddor Gymreig'). The manuscript is considered to have been written soon after 1697 and to have been based on Henry Turberville (c. 1608-1677/8): An Abridgment of Christian Doctrine (known by the short-title The Douay Catechism) and on An Abstract of the Douay Catechism.

Thyrsis Pastor et Corydon Bubulcus' by Evan Evans 'e Coll. Mert[on]. A.D. 1752 Aetatis 21'; 'An Extract from the Critical review for April 1773' relating to 'The Love of our Country a poem &c'; 'A copy of George Crochan's letter to Governor Dinwiddie concerning the Welsh Indians', written from Winchester, 24 August 1753, together with Dr Worthington's remarks thereon, 1766; 'The three most famous Musicians in King James 1st's time' [Lewis Penmon, Heilin, and Dic Bibydd] ('Ex MS Johannis Salusbtry d' Erb[istock]'); 'The Saxon Alphabet', 'The antient British Alphabet', and 'Alphabetum e nummis antiquis desumptum'; 'Notes on Giraldus Cambrensis', 'D'ni Johannis Davidis Rhesi de Gruffudd Robert Grammatices Cambrobrittanicae Mediolani impressi A.D. 1567', 'D. A composite manuscript written largely c. 1564 by William Salesbury (?1520-?1584) of Plas Isa, Llanrwst, translator of the New Testament, containing 'cywyddau', 'englynion', and a few 'awdlau' by Jhon Kent, Gryff. Dwnn ap Oweyn Dwnn, Guto or Glyn, Tuder Alet, Hugh Arwystl, Dafydd Nantmor, Hugh Lleyn, Dauyd ap Gwilym, Wylyam Egwad, Roland Vychan, Rychard Ierwerth ('o Abertawey'), Gruffydd ap Ieuan (Ivan) ap Ll'yn, Will. Salesbur[y], Morgan ap Res, D'd Epyn[t], Thomas Vychan, and William Phylip, and anonymous and imperfect poems; 'Trioedd Cerdd' ('Tri bai cyffredin Cerdd davod', etc.); 'Trioedd Ynys Brytain'; miscellaneous triads; 'Pemp Brenhinlluyth [Cembery]'; 'Pemptheclluyth Gwynedd'; a deaf and dumb alphabet; and 'Dyledawl goffaduriaeth am enwae yr oll veirdd a mydrwyr eill [sic] or hen Vrytanieid a llawer o ein cyfoes'.

A composite volume belonging to John Jones ('Myrddin Fardd') containing notes and press cuttings concerning heraldry, etc. At the beginning in another hand are accounts of 'Gibbet Hill' [Llanfair Caereinion] subscribed 'Mrs B- December 12. 59', 'Sion y Clochydd' and 'Bryn Llawenydd'. The press cuttings include a series of articles on 'Pymtheg Llwyth Gwynedd' by [the Reverend Hugh Parry] 'Cefni'. There are one or two loose items, including a sheet in an eighteenth century hand containing 'Naw gradd Carrennydd' and two 'englynion', etc., 'Awgrym fûd' (a deaf and dumb alphabet), and 'Llyma y pum achos sydd i gadw acha[u].'
