Abertanat, Cemais and Penrhos title deeds,

Title deeds of properties belonging to the estates of Abertanat in Montgomeryshire, Shropshire and Denbighshire, 1476-1765, Cemais, Montgomeryshire, 1545-1690, and Penrhos, Montgomeryshire and Shropshire, 1508-1828. Some of the sixteenth and seventeenth century Montgomeryshire deeds clearly illustrate the development of the modern rural landscape; they record the acquisition by single landowners of mediaeval field strips previously in multiple ownership.

A volume containing the minutes of meetings held at Welshpool, 1877, to arrange a steeple-chase, with lists of officials and accounts of the steeple-chases held, 1877-86. Notes on the history of the South Wales Borderers written in 1888. The documents deposited in 1982 include: The Order Book for Montgomeryshire Quarter Sessions, 1707-37. This volume is to be kept henceforth with the official Quarter Sessions records.
