Title deeds and associated papers for houses and lands of the Maurices, Owens and Ormsby-Gores of Brogyntyn and the families related to them, belonging to the estates of Clenennau, 1427-1833, Glyn, 1499-1807, Sylfaen, 1509-1698, [1811], and Ystumcegid, 1597-1672, in Caernarfonshire and Merionethshire; Nant in Flintshire, [mid 14 cent.], 1367-[c. 1686]; Brogyntyn (Porkington) in Shropshire, 1296-1838; Llanddyn in Denbighshire, 1498-1829; Brymbo and Lea Hall in Denbighshire and Shropshire, 1555-1765; Abertanat, 1476-1765, and Penrhos, 1508-1828, on the Montgomeryshire/Shropshire border; and Cemais in Montgomeryshire, 1545-1690. There is also a group of deeds which relate to properties in Harlech, 1327-1649, Dolbenmaen, 1721-1737, the Faenol estate, 1596-1645, the west of Ireland, 1606-1799, and miscellaneous estates in Wales and England, 1298-[post-1758]; and a number of unplaced documents, 1599-1724. The documents are mostly original, but they also include copies and drafts.

Papers of R. H. G. Montgomery, and a few co. Merioneth deeds); the Pennant and Glanhafren estates, co. Shrop, 1725-1919, some concerning the Humphreys family; miscellaneous documents, 1679-1847, relating to co. Mont., mainly in p's Montgomery and Llandysul; deeds and documents, 1694-1926, concerning properties in p's Kerry and Llandysul, co. Mont.; deeds and documents, 1859-1946, relating to properties in p's Welshpool, Berriew, Churchstoke, Llanfair Caereinion etc.; deeds and documents, c.1727-1929, relating to properties at Llanfechan, Llangynniew, Berriew, Llansaintffraid, Guilsfield, Welshpool etc., some relating to the Glanhafren estate; documents, 1683-1858, relating to properties in a large number of parishes in co. Mont.; correspondence and papers relating to Thomas Jones of Llantysilio, 1787-1836, to Major Robert J. Harrison, Llantysilio Hall, Llangollen, 1810-1841, and miscellanea, 1704-1872; legal papers, 1823-1833; and miscellaneous legal and financial papers, 1685-1912, of Montgomeryshire interest.

The fourth group, deposited in Sept. 2000, comprises deeds and documents, 1775-1978, relating to properties in p's Berriew and Guilsfield and in the town of Welshpool, all co. Mont.

Deeds and leases concerning land in the county of Shropshire (including the lordship and manor of Gatton, the forest of Hoggestowe, the manor of Buildwas, the towns of Bridgnorth and Shrewsbury, and the parishes, townships, etc., of Abertanat, Albrighton, Blodwel Fawr, Brompton, Bron y Garth, Crickheath, Cynhinion, Daywell, Ifton Rhyn, Llwyntidman, Pentre'r Gaer, Priest Weston, Quatford, Soughton, Sweeney, Wenfield, Weston Magna, Weston Rhyn and Worfield), together with bonds of obligation made by persons resident in the county, as well as associated legal papers and some genealogical notes.

Deeds relating to properties in London, Cambridgeshire, Cheshire, Kent, Lincolnshire, Middlesex and Suffolk, together with agreements and bonds of obligation made by persons resident in those counties, and a recitation of deeds and inquisitions concerning lands in Kent formerly in the possession of Lord Cobham. Some of the documents also refer to land in Shropshire.
