The correspondents include: Lettice Hampton Lewis; Bodior, Holyhead (f. 1v); John Wynn H. Williams, Quirt, Dwyran, 1889, to a Mr Parry (f. 1v); W. P. Williams, Caer Onnen, Bangor, 1912 (f. 7); Robt Hughes, Ty'n y Cae [Llanfwrog, Holyhead], to Jonan Jones, 1854, with the latter's reply (f. 7); Thos Jones, Bodwrdin, 1909 (f. 18); Wm Lloyd, Bryndyfrydog, Llanerchymedd, 1904 (f. 22); John Evans, Aber Rectory to ?G. E. Griffith as 'Receipt for ½ year's wages for serving as curate to Mr Ellis') (f. 11v); 'Copies of inscriptions on Tablets in Newborough Church to the memory of the Rev. Lewis Hughes family...' (f. 12); printed englynion in memory of R. Garnons, Caernarfon, and on the death of H. R[umsey] Williams, Pen-rhos, nr Caernarfon (f. 24); 'Cwynfan galarus at Mr Henry Brereton ar ol P. Panton Yswain Gan O. Roberts' (englynion) (f. 28), and two snapshots (Bryn-celli Ddu, Aug. 28 1928, Mr Hemp).
Loose items include the title-page of a family Bible with memoranda concerning the family of J. E. Griffith, and a certificate of probate belonging to the will of Maurice Williams of Trawsfynydd, Merioneth, 1685[/6].
