Notebook, 1971-9, in Welsh and English, comprising poetry by Kate Davies and other local country poets, including her uncle Thomas Jacob Thomas ('Sarnicol', 1873-1945), together with penillion calennig and penillion telyn, puzzles and proverbs, and references to folk customs and local traditions. Memoirs [1970s] in Welsh of Kate Davies, tracing her family history and describing the Cletwr valley in south Cardiganshire, its colourful characters and their traditional agricultural way of life during the first half of the twentieth century.
