[Private,with Swagger Stick]

A three quarter-length portrait of a Private holding a swagger stick. There is some form of identity on his shoulder but not sufficiently clear to identify his regiment. There is also a patch of darker cloth at the top of his sleeve, possibly part of a divisional patch.

D C Harries, Rhosmaen Street, Llandilo.

[Royal Welsh Fusiliers]

Studio portrait, full-length, of two privates in the Royal Welsh Fusiliers, one seated The lack of any embellishments on their iniforms implies that this photo dates from the early years of the war..

D C Harries, Rhosmaen Street, Llandilo.

[Soldier and his wife]

A studio portrait of a soldier wearing the 1916 economy tunic photographed with, presumably, his wife. She is seated on a rustic chair whilst he is standing behind her. Possibly he has been conscripted into the army. No indication of regiment / unit.
