Photocopies of papers relating to the clarinettist Ralph Davies (1916-1990) of Aberystwyth, including a letter sent by his widow Mrs Vi[olet] Davies to Heward Rees with biographical information . Also included are reproductions of photographs, concert programmes, a letter from Prince Charles, 1981, wishing him well on his retirement from his post at the Department of German, Swedish and Russian at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth, and an appreciation by Ian Parrott .
