A collection of Welsh, Breton, Irish and Scottish folk songs, 1933-1944. Many of the musical arrangements are by W. S. Gwynn Williams, and were printed by the Gwynn Publishing Co., Llangollen. Also included are letters between W. S. Gwynn Williams and Yves Georges Marie Goƫau (1896-1977).

Correspondence, 1926-1941, relating to the publication and royalties of musical and other works by J. Lloyd Williams, including collections and arrangements of folk songs, and his cantata, Aelwyd Angharad. Most of the letters are from W. S. Gwynn Williams, Music Director of Hughes & Son, Wrexham.

The fonds comprises mainly his professional papers, 1908-1976, a few personal papers, [1800x2001], and papers of his father, W. Pencerdd Williams, [c. 1890]-[c. 1924]. Papers relating to the Welsh Folk-Song Society and to his role as first musical director of the Llangollen International Eisteddfod are not included.
